This information will hopefully help you if you're trying to subscribe to Free Software Newsletter but aren't receiving email messages sent to your email address.

Add newsletter@burn4free.com to Your Address Book/White List

Many times, messages from mailing lists seem to not get delivered, because they get filtered into junk mail folders.
This is because sometimes the legitimate unsubscription information that's in the message itself is flagged as being SPAM-like.

There's no proper way around this, except to not have this unsubscription information available, which will cause trouble when you want off a list.

In light of this problem, the best thing to do is to add the list owner's email address, newsletter@burn4free.com , to your addressbook/whitelist.

Outlook Express

Open the e-mail. Right-click on the FROM name. If unable to right-click, use CTRL + click.
Click ADD TO ADDRESS BOOK in the menu. Click OK on the Properties pop-up.

Outlook 2000

Open the e-mail. Right-click on the FROM address. If unable to right-click, use CTRL + click.
Click ADD TO CONTACTS on the shortcut menu. Click SAVE AND CLOSE in the Contacts pop-up.

AOL 9

Open the e-mail. Click ADD ADDRESS on the right side of the screen. Click OK. Can't see images?
In the upper right corner of the message window, click Show images & enable links.

AOL 8

Open the e-mail. Click ADD ADDRESS on the right side of the screen. Click SAVE on the pop-up screen.

AOL Netmail

Open the e-mail. Click ADD ADDRESS on the right side of the screen. Click SAVE.

Yahoo

Open the e-mail. Click ADD TO ADDRESS BOOK next to the FROM address. Click ADD TO ADDRESS BOOK again.
Can't see images? In the upper right corner of the message window, click Show images & enable links.

Earthlink

Open the e-mail. Click ADD SENDER. The ADD TO ADDRESS BOOK pop-up appears with HP's
name and e-mail address. Click YES.

Earthlink Webmail

Open the e-mail. Click ADD TO ADDRESS BOOK. Click SAVE on the next screen.

Hotmail

Open the e-mail. Click SAVE ADDRESS at the top of the message header.
OK on the next screen. Can't see images?
In the upper right corner of the message window, click Show images & enable links.
Hotmail Users also need to choose Mail Options, and identify the Rigzone newsletter under the Mailing List option.

MSN 8

Open the e-mail. Click SAVE ADDRESSES at the upper right of the screen.
Select the checkbox next to the address you want to save. Click SAVE.

Netscape

Open the e-mail. Right-click on the FROM address. If unable to right-click, use CTRL + click.
Click ADD TO ADDRESS BOOK in the menu. Click OK on the Address Book pop-up.

If Possible, add burn4free.com to Your Email "White List"

Some email service providers and corporate email servers allow you to add the burn4free.com domain name to your list of accepted senders.
This is referred to as "white listing", which causes your mail server to always deliver emails originating from the burn4free.com servers.
Check with your ISP or corporate help desk to see about "white listing" the burn4free.com domain.

If your email server supports "white listing", add burn4free.com to your "white list".

Personal Spam-Filtering Software

If you use personal spam-filtering software that runs locally on your computer (e.g. SpamAssasin, EmailProtect, CloudMark, Kaspersky, spamNet, Qurb, etc.),
you can add burn4free.com to your local "white list" so that our newsletters will not be deleted/blocked by your spam filter.
Depending on your software, you may either add the burn4free.com domains to your "white list"
or the specific email addresses from which the newsletters will be sent ( newsletter@burn4free.com ).

Having Trouble Reading Our Emails?

If you are not seeing any of the images in our newsletters, you probably need to add our email address to your address book to allow the images to load.
See the instructions above. Or, you may simply need to click the appropriate button/link to show images.
